KANSAS MAN PLEADS GUILTY

Jeff Smith of Inman, KS plead guilty by waiver in Custer County Court in Broken Bow, NE on January 27, 2006 for violation of Nebraska Statute 54-1,111, Selling Cattle Without Brand Inspection, a Class II Misdemeanor. He was ordered to pay a $100.00 fine and court costs. This stemed from Jeff Smith selling roping steers at the Custer County Fair Grounds in 2005 without first having the cattle brand inspected.
